In the Device Manager, right click on the device and select 'Update Driver.,' remove the CD-ROM, insert the floppy, and click Next. In the 'Files Needed' box, for 'Copy Files From:', type 'A:'. Access the 'Windaq' programs menu and open 'WinDaq7xx USB0' to confirm that the device has been successfully installed. STEP 3: Find DATAQ DIxxx (COM#) - # is the COM port designated for your device. STEP 4:Change the COM port Number of your Device. Right-click on DATAQ DIxxx (COM#). Click on Properties. Click on the Port Settings tab. Click on the Advanced button. Click the down arrow on the COM Port Number drop-down menu. Data Acquisition with Dataq Instruments DI-194, DI-194RS and DI-154RSs This project includes code to read the DI-194 (older), DI-194RS (current) and DI-154RS (New, 12 bit) serial DAQ devices. These are inexpensive data acquisition devices with a serial interface. The software will work with most Unix variants, and is tested under Debian Linux. Change the COM port Number of your Device.
